If you want to prevent your phone from automatically downloading any OTA
updates when you're not in your home country, you should disable data roaming
on your phone before travelling abroad.
When data roaming is disabled, you will not be able to access the Internet using
a data connection or use any other data services on your phone while you're out
of your wireless service provider's coverage area. For more information on how to
enable or disable data roaming, see "To enable data roaming" earlier in this chapter.
