15 Getting Around with Maps

8.3 Viewing Maps

While viewing a map, take advantage of the following zoom and navigation
techniques. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to navigate and zoom on the map.
To zoom in or out on a map
Touch the screen to open the Zoom control tab. Touch
to zoom out. With each touch, you zoom in closer or zoom out further on the map.
Tip You can also open the zoom control tab by pressing MENU, and touching More >
Zoom.
Touch to zoom in
on the map.
To navigate on a map
Roll the TRACKBALL or slide your finger on the screen in any direction to view other
areas of the map.
