Add school information
Add school administrators and district

Register at least one other Renaissance
Place product
Activate schools for KeyWords RP
Reports
Add teachers, school staff, and students
(make sure student names match
exactly what is entered in KeyWords on
your NEOs)
Add school marking periods
Add courses and classes, assign
teachers— designate a lead teacher for
each KeyWords RP class—and enroll
students in classes
Make sure teacher and student
computers have the necessary software
installed
Much of the preliminary setup for your Renaissance Place programs occurs
before you log in for the first time. For example, KeyWords RP should be
installed by your program administrator, or it may be installed on a server
hosted by Renaissance Learning.
The tasks listed below must be performed after KeyWords RP is installed and
before you synchronize KeyWords data so you can view reports. You may or
may not be the one required to perform these tasks.
