On Windows
computers, you can
click on the
QuizManager toolbar to
open a student response
document instead of choosing
Open from the File menu.
When you exit QuizManager with NEOs connected, the NEOs are
automatically turned off. If you want to turn off all NEOs while QuizManager
is still open, do one of the following:
• Click Power Off AlphaSmarts on the Control Bar
• Click the Communication menu and choose Power Off AlphaSmarts.
• On Windows computers only, click
window.
To turn the AlphaSmarts on again through QuizManager, do one of the
following:
• Click Power On AlphaSmarts on the Control Bar.
• Click the Communication menu and choose Power On AlphaSmarts.
• On Windows computers only, click
window.
By default, each question in a quiz is worth one point. In QuizManager, you
can assign different points (weights) to each question by following the steps
below. You can either change points after grading based on how difficult the
questions seemed for students, or you can change them before grading the
quiz. However, you must retrieve student responses before you can assign
points to questions.
1. Make sure you have retrieved student responses from the quiz (see
page 7-35) and that you are viewing the student response document. If
you closed the document, click the File menu, click Open, and select and
open the document.
