How Students Take a Quiz Using the AlphaQuiz SmartApplet
6. Next students may be asked to enter their class number (two characters
or less—letters and/or numbers). Each student types the number and
presses enter.
7. Next, students press any key to start the quiz.
8. Students enter an answer for each question in the quiz and press enter.
After they answer each question, the next one appears until the quiz is
done. Students can also use these keys to move through the quiz or to
find unanswered questions:
Press these keys...
esc Exit the quiz (if marking the quiz "finished" is not
required).

Go to the next question.

Go to the previous question.

enter Go to the next question, except in the answers to essay
questions. In those answers, enter inserts a line break
so students can begin a new paragraph.
Go to the next question from the essay question

tab In essay questions, switch between the question and
the answer. If you go to the answer, the cursor returns
to the student's last location in the answer.
Go to any question in the quiz. After you press this key
z-J
combination, the NEO will ask you to enter the
question number. Type the number and press enter.
Check for unanswered questions. After you press these
z-B
keys, the NEO will show you which questions you have
not answered. Type the question number that you want
to go to and press enter.
Students may also be allowed to print their answers (see page 7-31) or
save their quiz to an AlphaWord file (see page 7-32).
