which
requires
control. The thruster system is turned "ON/OFF"
through a dedicated battery switch which is remotely
operated from a toggle switch on the battery
management panel (see Fig_6.2-3).
The thruster is operated by a joy stick located on the

Do not operate thrusters with the vessel out of
the water. Doing so will likely damage the
equipment and void thruster warranty. Serious
injury to persons in proximity to spinning
thruster blades is possible.
7.9 Anchors and Anchoring
(see Fig_6.8-1)
(Fig_6.8-1)
There is no single type of anchor or rode that is most
appropriate for the Back Cove. Selecting the right
one depends on the type of holding ground, the
incorporation of an optional windlass and where the
boat will be anchored. It is a good idea to carry two
types of anchors, one rigged on the bow sprit and
one stowed in the anchor locker. The bow roller is
designed to accommodate a number of commonly
available anchors and in particular, the 22 lb. Delta.
Never use the windlass as an anchoring or
pulling
attachment.
