Run engine up to operating temperature.
Check engine coolant level and add, if low.
Check that water hoses heat up and carry flow to the heater.
Check to see that water in the heater heats up.
Check full water system for leaks.
Note: Systems shipped in cold weather months will have non-toxic antifreeze in the fresh water
system.
15. Marine Sanitation Device (MSD)
Read the owner's manual for operating procedure.
Check action of electric head pump.
Check head, fill and discharge hoses, and holding tank fittings for leaks.
Open discharge sea valve.
Operate the macerator pump and check that the fresh water in the holding tank
discharges overboard through the discharge sea valve.
Re-check head, fill and discharge hoses, and holding tank fittings for leaks.
Close and secure the discharge sea valve.

16. Appliances

Review the cook top manual.
Using shore power or the generator (optional) as a power source, check the action of
the electric cook top burner. Check operation of emergency cut-off switch. (see
Fig_6.12d-3) Fill with alcohol and test.
Review the refrigerator/ freezer manual(s).
Using shore power or the generator (optional) as a power source, check the operation
of the refrigerator and the freezer section. Check with 12V DC as the power source.
Review the microwave oven manual.
Using shore power, generator (optional), or inverter (optional) as a power source,
check the operation of the microwave oven.
