An email address is not required for a FRITZ!Box user account, but is
recommended for notifications.

If you create a FRITZ!Box user account for a person, then that
person is granted rights for selected areas and functions of the
FRITZ!Box.
Every FRITZ!Box user logs in with their own user name and a
unique password.
Login using a FRITZ!Box account is possible from the home
network of the FRITZ!Box and, with the appropriate rights, also via
the internet.
You can set up as many as 18 FRITZ!Box user accounts.
