5.4 Powering Off the PLC CCO

Context
Power off the PLC CCO before you replace it, maintain its cables, or stop using it.
Procedure
Step 1 Turn off the switch connected to the PLC CCO AC power cable.
Step 2 Disconnect the PLC CCO adapter power cable.

 For details about how to add a PLC on the SmartLogger1000, see the SmartLogger1000 User
Manual.
 If the software version is SUN2000 V100R001C72SPC003 or later, the PLC CCO supports
auto-negotiation of baud rates 9600 bit/s and 115200 bit/s. If the PLC networking is used, you are
advised to set Baud rate to 115200 for the RS485 port of the SmartLogger1000 to achieve better
communication performance.
 If the software version is earlier than SUN2000 V100R001C72SPC003, the PLC CCO does not
support auto-negotiation of baud rates 9600 bit/s and 115200 bit/s. When the PLC networking is
used, set Baud rate to 115200 for the RS485 port of the SmartLogger1000.
