Fuel System
Maintenance
DANGER
In certain conditions, fuel is extremely
flammable and highly explosive. A fire or
explosion from fuel can burn you, others, and
can damage property.
• Perform any fuel-related maintenance
when the engine is cold. Do this outdoors
in an open area. Wipe up any fuel that
spills.
• Never smoke when draining fuel, and stay
away from an open flame or where a spark
may ignite the fuel fumes.

Replacing the Fuel Filter

Service Interval: Every 500 hours/Yearly (whichever
comes first) (more often in dusty,
dirty conditions).
Important:
Install the fuel line hoses and secure
with plastic ties the same as they were originally
installed at the factory to keep the fuel line away
from components that can cause fuel line damage.
The fuel filter is located near the engine on the left
front of the engine.
1.

3.
Allow the machine to cool down.
