The following figure shows the 'Bridging Ports' table:
Field
Description
Bridge Port
Indicates the phonebook entry for the Bridging entry.
Encap
Indicates the applied encapsulation method for Ethernet
frames(*) on the VC.
The AST710 supports both the LLC/SNAP method (default)
and the VC MUX method.
FCS
Indicates whether the last four bytes of the Ethernet frames
are preserved or not. By default the FCS is set to NO.
Note: You can set the FCS to YES via the CLI.
Allows you to change the state of the Bridging entry. It can
