Warning
– Protect the measuring device from heavy shock or falling down.
– Cleaning agents and other liquids must not enter the apparatus,
since they may damage it.
– Do not expose the apparatus to sunlight.
– Both the storage and use of other electronic devices in the
immediate vicinity of the apparatus may impair proper
operation.
– Portable and mobile high-frequency communication
devices may affect the apparatus. The use of mobile phones
during operation is not allowed.
– Repair work may only be carried out by a certified Ivoclar
Vivadent Service Center.
– For dental use only! The Bluephase Meter II is suitable for
measuring energy-rich blue light in the wavelength range
of 380–550 nm and not white light.
Start-up
To start the apparatus, open the battery case at the rear of the
housing and insert the provided batteries (3 x type LR6/AA/1.5V).
Do not use any rechargeable batteries. The unit is now ready for
operation.
Operation
For the correct measuring with the Bluephase Meter II, the design of
the polymerization light must be considered. For polymerization
lights with the light source positioned directly at the light emission
window of the handpiece (e.g. LED at the front of the light head),
only the light power (radiant flux) in [mW] can be measured.

Define the diameter of the circular
light probe using the integrated
template on the rear of the device.
