The components illustrated in the topology shown in the figure above are described below:
• LISP remote sites:
• Each customer premises equipment (CPE) switch at a remote site functions as a LISP ITR and ETR
• Each LISP xTR has the same three VRFs as the HQ Site: the TRANS (for transactions), the SOC
• Each remote site LISP xTR has a single RLOC connection to a shared IPv4 core network.
Before you begin
Create the VRFs using the vrf definition command and verify that the Configure a Large-Scale LISP Shared
Model Virtualization task has been performed at one or more central (headquarters) sites.
