TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The power supply cord is
not plugged in to the power
The machine does not

CAUSE
Connect the plug to a socket which complies with the technical specifi cations
indicated in the data plate "M" under the base of the machine.
Position the main on/off switch "G" on "I".
Fill tank "L" with water
Insert a capsule in the capsule compartment "B".
Remove the capsule by disengaging and lifting the lever "A" and collect it from
the capsule tray "D". Close the capsule compartment "B" and dispense a small
quantity of water. Insert the capsule again and start brewing.
Lift the lever "A" and make sure that you have inserted the capsule correctly.
Lower the moving part and lock by lowering the lever "A". Press the
buttons to brew coff ee.

Descale the machine as described in the related paragraph.
Try to dispense water without inserting the capsule into the compartment "B".
Make sure that you are using an "Iperespresso" capsule for household use iden-
tifi ed by the "Ground coffee single-dose capsule for household use" label on
the package.
