The exhaust aftertreatment unit inlet NOx
sensor (A70 b1) is screwed in from the
outside in the chamber downstream of the
SCR catalytic converter and the ammonia
blocking catalytic converter.
The exhaust aftertreatment unit inlet NOx
sensor (A70) is attached to a bracket at the
exhaust aftertreatment unit (1). Both
components form a single unit.
Task
The exhaust aftertreatment unit inlet NOx sensor (A70 b1)
represents the actual measuring probe, whereas the exhaust
aftertreatment unit inlet NOx sensor control unit (A70) is used to
calculate the NOx concentration in the exhaust downstream of
the exhaust aftertreatment by the diesel oxidation catalytic
converter (DOC), the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and the SCR
catalytic converter.
