The exhaust aftertreatment unit outlet NOx
sensor (A57 b1) is screwed in from the
outside in the deflection chamber upstream
of the diesel oxidation catalytic converter
(DOC).
The exhaust aftertreatment unit outlet NOx
sensor (A57) is attached to a bracket at the
exhaust aftertreatment unit (1). Both
components form a single unit.
Task
The exhaust aftertreatment unit outlet NOx sensor (A57 b1)
represents the actual measuring probe, whereas the exhaust
aftertreatment unit outlet NOx sensor electronic control unit
(A57) is used to calculate the raw NOx concentration in the
exhaust upstream of the exhaust aftertreatment by the diesel
oxidation catalytic converter (DOC), the diesel particulate filter
(DPF) and the SCR catalytic converter.
