Speed measuring requires a 5 V supply. The square TTL type output signal frequency is proportional
to the speed. According to the polar wheel mounted on the system, the pulse number (per revolution)
will be 30, 60, 600 or 6000. For additional information on this item, refer to the dynamometer's
corresponding data sheet in Section 1.2.

Note:
The use of a 600-bit encoder limits the speed of the system to
10,000 rpm. If the testing application requires, Magtrol can offer a
speed sensor providing 6,000 impulses per revolution. This provides
a higher resolution but limits the speed to 1000 rpm.
