2-2 Basic Operations
After dialing the number, the call timer is activated and the call duration is
displayed. The time displayed here is for reference only, and should not be
used as a basis for disputing charges.

3. After the call, hang up the receiver (hangup) or press the SPEAKER key (if
Speaker Phone was used) to return to the standby display; press the
【 HANDFREE 】 key to return to the standby display (if the Hands Free
option was used).
Note:
After picking up the receiver (off-the-hook), the phone's receiver indicator (green) will light
up.
Normally, after picking up the receiver, the off-the-hook dial tone will be audible in the
earphone. If the signal in the area where the phone stays is too weak, no off-the-hook dial tone
will sound.
After the call, make sure the receiver has been placed back in the cradle and the green
indicator light goes out. After the call, make sure the receiver is placed back in the cradle.
2.1.2 Direct Dialing
1. In standby mode, enter the desired number.

The number entered should not exceed 24 digits. When the number is longer
than 16 digits, only the last 16 digits will be displayed.
If the entry is incorrect, modify it by using the following method: Press the
【DEL】key to delete the number entered, and re-enter.
2. Press the TALK key or MENU/OK key to dial. Press the 【
dial.
The phone automatically goes into SPEAKER mode. You can also pick up the
earphone to talk.
