PRESSER BAR SETTING

Presser bar connection and guide 51257M have to be adjusted
in such a way that when the presser foot rests on the throat plate
there should be a distance of 1.6 mm between lower surface of
the presser bar connection and guide and bottom surface of
head opening (Fig.15).
Adjustment is made by turning handwheel to position needle
bar at bottom of stroke. Loosen screw (F) and while holding
presser foot down on throat plate, position presser bar con-
nection and guide as required to attain specified clearance
and retighten screw.

STANGE
Die Drückerfußstangenverbindung und -führung 51257M muss,
wenn der Drückerfuß auf der Stichplatte aufliegt so eingestellt
sein, dass zwischen seiner Unterkante und dem Gehäuse ein
Abstand von 1,6 mm besteht (Fig. 15).
Zur Einstellung drehen Sie am Handrad bis die Nadelstange in
der untersten Stellung ist. Lösen Sie die Schraube (F) und wäh-
rend Sie den Drückerfuß auf die Stichplatte herunterdrücken,
stellen Sie die Drückerfußstangenverbindung und -führung
entsprechend ein, um den vorgeschriebenen Abstand zu er-
halten und ziehen die Schraube wieder an.
