    ELECTRIC MOTOR SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WARNING: A spinning propeller has the potential to cause serious and permanent injury to yourself and others. WARNING: Once the motor batteries are connected, the propeller can start spinning at any time. Make sure the fail safe is set on your radio to prevent the motor from starting if the transmitter signal is lost.

    PREPARATION Use a covering iron set to low heat with a covering sock to go over the model, slowly and carefully tightening the covering where necessary. Do Not use excessive heat or the covering may cause the parts to twist. WING ASSEMBLY Center the wing in the fuselage.
  • Page 9 Trim the covering from the wing. Do not cut into the wood! 1/16" [ 1.5 mm] 1/16" [ 1.5 mm] Use 30 minute epoxy to glue the wing, centered in the fuselage. Wipe off any access epoxy with a paper towel dampened in denatured alcohol before the epoxy hardens.
