Protective function
When an over current fault occurs, operation must be started after the
Over current
cause is removed to avoid damage to IGBT inside the inverter.
 Accel/Decel time is too short
compared to the GD
 The inverter load is greater the
rated value.
 Inverter output is uploaded
when the motor is free running.
 Occurrence of output short circuit
and ground fault
 echanical brake of the motor is
operating too fast.
 Occurrence of short circuit
between upper and lower IGBT arms
Short circuit
 Output short circuit of the inverter
occurs
 Accel/Decel time is too short
comparing the load inertia GD2.
 The ground fault of the output
wiring for the inverter occurs
Ground fault
 The motor insulation is damaged
due to overheating.
12-4
When the brake control is used, the output current is lower than
the rated current value of the motor set (I82) and lasts for over
10s, then the inverter output is turned off and the brake is not
opened.
If safe stop is required, cut off panel SA and SC and turn off the
inverter output.
If safe stop is required, cut off panel SA and SC and turn off the
inverter output.

 Increase the Accel/Decel time.
 Replace the inverter with
greater capacity.
 Resume operation after stopping
the motor or use H22.
 Check the output wiring.
 Check the mechanical brake.
 Check IGBT.
 Check the output wiring of the
inverter.
 Increase the Accel/Decel time.
 Check the output wiring of the
inverter.
 Please replace the motor.
