The OPC client object is added to the same hierarchy level as the OPC server, see Fig-
ure 4.3.2.3-1. Below the OPC client object, you can add only channel and device objects.
The data objects are linked using the Cross-References function from the servers to the
client and further to the NCC. The Cross-References function can be also used to configure
the data object's parameters.
Add the objects in the following order:
1. OPC client object
2. Channel/Subnetwork object depending on protocol
3. Device object.

General about configuring objects

Each configurable object, such as server and channel/subnetwork objects, can be con-
figured with object properties. The source data is configured with a data object OPC
server configuration. This defines the addresses and type of data in the device providing
the data. Process data is connected to the COM610/615 gateway client by adding the
