Operation with MSA Gas Detectors
(7) The gas detector is now successfully paired to the G1.
A successful Bluetooth wireless connection will result in
a slow blinking BLUE LED on the Altair 5X and a solid
green Bluetooth icon on the G1 control module
secondary screen
Once an MSA gas detector and a G1 SCBA have been
paired successfully the pairing will be maintained across
power on/off cycles for both devices indefinitely.
If the pairing process is unsuccessful, there will be no
slow blinking LED on the gas detector and the steps
above will need to be repeated.
