Notes on the allocation of resources
Only two exclusive interrupts are available for PCI /PCIe modules due to the large functional
scope of the motherboard. If the new expansion modules require additional exclusive
resources, you must disable certain motherboard functions. For information on allocated
resources, refer to the system resources section. Information on disabling motherboard
functions is available in the BIOS Setup menu. Information on the assignment of the PCI IRQ
Line to the PCI slots is found in the "Advanced menu" or "Bus board" section.
The device supports graphics modules with expansion ROM of up to 48 K.

Open the device
Remove the module retainer (3)
Remove the relevant steel slot cover
(1).
Insert the expansion module (2) into
the relevant slot.
Screw-tighten the steel slot cover (1)
of the expansion module.
Reinstall the module retainer (3).
Release the free module retainer (4),
fit it on the expansion module and
tighten the screws.
With short expansion modules, you
can remove the locking screw from
the retainer and screw it into the hole
on the opposite side.
Close the device
