8. Mount the new saw blade onto the spindle (30) and against the inner
blade flange

tighten the blade bolt (24) using the supplied allen key (2) in a clock wise
direction (Fig W).
WARNING: The direction in which the blade rotates has to be
the same as the direction per the blade rotation indicator (3)
(Fig X).
10. Ensure that the spindle lock button (20) is released.
11. Before using the saw again, check that the safety devices are in good
working order.
IMPORTANT. After replacing the saw blade (21), make sure that the
saw blade (21) runs freely by turning the blade by hand.
12. Attach the battery pack (27) to the circular saw and run the saw under
no load to check that it runs smoothly before using it to cut any material.

Dust extraction outlet / adapter
1. A vacuum or dust extraction appliance can be fitted to the dust
extraction adapter (17) by inserting the hose into the port of the dust
extraction adapter (17). Ensure the fit is secure.
2. To remove the dust extraction adapter (17), loosen the assembly screw
using a philips head screwdriver (not supplied) in an anticlockwise
direction. Remove the screw, and pull the dust extraction adapter (17)
out and away from the saw (Fig Y Z).
3. To re-attach, place the dust extraction adaptor (17) over and around
the dust extraction port recess area, lining up the screw hole on the
adapter and the hole on the recess. Insert the assembly screw and
tighten in a clockwise direction using a philips head screwdriver (not
supplied). Ensure the fit is secure.
