Avoid cutting wet grass when possible.
The lawnmower will have a harder time properly ejecting wet or damp grass from the
deck, creating unwanted build-up on the underside of the mower.

After each lawn mowing session, remove the batteries from the machine and clean
out any clippings from the underside of the mower deck to maximise lifespan.

DO NOT mow up and down slopes.
Instead mow across in an S like shape to prevent the mower from tipping over.
If you are no comfortable with your footing or the terrain, do not mow the area.

Regularly empty the grass catcher by lifting it by the handle from the back of the
mower.
Empty the clippings and then reinstall the grass catcher.

8. MAINTENANCE

WARNING
ALAWYS turn the mower OFF and REMOVE the batteries BEFORE carrying out
any maintenance or cleaning.

Lawnmower Blade
7.1
Inspect the blade for any damage on a regular basis.
7.2
Sharpen the blade when dull to prevent the mower from pulling at the grass rather
than cutting it.

To remove the blade, turn the mower off and remove the batteries.
7.4
Turn the mower onto its side ensuring it is unable to move or fall.

Place a block of wood or similar between the blade and the mower deck to prevent
the blade from turning.

Using a wrench (not provided) loosen the blade nut on the bottom of the unit.

Taking note of which way round the blade is installed, remove the nut, washer and
then the blade from the machine.

To replace the blade follow the above procedure in reverse and tighten to nut to
between 20 – 25 lb/ft.
