4) Lift the auxiliary latch up and out.
Reverse the auxiliary latch bevel and
place it back into the case. Hold the
auxiliary latch down and slide it forward
so it will project
case front and hold the auxiliary latch
lever (E) out of the way.
5) While holding the auxiliary latch
as instructed in step 4, place the latch
in the case with the bevel in the same
direction as the auxiliary latch. Make
sure the latch legs (F) are caught on the
ears of the turn knob lever (G)
(see figure 6-6).
6) Push the latch and auxiliary latch for
ward to the stop position so that they
are fully extended (see Figure 6-6).
Insert the latch spring (H) (large opening
of spring) towards back of latch and the
(small opening of spring) against the
spring seat. Insert one end of the
auxiliary latch spring into the back of
the auxiliary latch and place the other
end of the spring against the spring seat.
7) When the springs are installed, the
auxiliary latch lever (shaded area in
Figure 6-6) should be in the position
shown in Figure 6-6.
8) If the cam (I) falls out, replace it in the
thumbturn hole with the circular
opening facing up. Place the backplate
onto the case with the letters facing up
towards you, and fasten with two screws
removed in step 1. Check the lock for
freedom of movement by depressing the
latch and auxiliary latch into the lock
case, then make sure that the latch and
auxiliary latch return back to their original
fully extended position (see figure 6-6).

5) Mientras mantiene el pestillo auxiliar como se
indica en el paso 4, coloque el pestillo en
la caja con el lado biselado en la misma
dirección en que se encuentra el pestillo
auxiliar. Asegúrese de que las patas del pestillo
(F) encajan en las orejas de la palanca
de la perilla (G) (ver ilustración 6-6).
6) Empuje el pestillo y el pestillo auxiliar
hacia adelante, hasta la posición tope,
para que queden totalmente extendidos
(ver ilustración 6-6). Inserte el resorte
del pestillo (H) (abertura grande del
resorte) hacia la parte de atrás del pestillo
y la abertura pequeña del resorte contra el
asiento del resorte. Inserte un extremo del
resorte del pestillo auxiliar en la parte de
atrás del pestillo auxiliar y coloque el otro
extremo contra el asiento de resorte.
7) Cuando los resortes estén instalados,
la palanca del pestillo auxiliar (área
sombreada de la ilustración 6-6)
debería ir en la posición indicada en
la ilustración 6-6.
8) Si la leva (I) se ha caído, colóquela
nuevamente en el orificio de la perilla,
con el agujero circular hacia arriba.
Coloque la placa posterior en la caja con
las letras hacia arriba y hacia usted,
y ajústela con los dos tornillos que se
sacaron en el paso 1. Verifique que la
cerradura se mueva libremente, oprimiendo
el pestillo y el pestillo auxiliar en la caja de
la cerradura, luego asegúrese que el pestillo
y el pestillo auxiliar vuelvan a su posición
totalmente extendida, original
(ver ilustración 6-6).
