Loading the Administration Set


NOTE:
Follow the Instructions supplied with the individual administration set.

1. Prepare the administration set by remove it from the sterile packaging leaving the end caps on
the line.
Pull the door latch down (on the door's bottom surface) to open the BodyGuard 121 Twins pump

3. Make sure the flow direction corresponds to the flow direction arrows inside the pump door.
4. Insert the IV tubing into the pumping canal. Insert the tubing from top down, and avoid stretching
or pulling the tubing.
5. Ensure that the distal flow valve is on the right hand side of the pump if using a CME set or one
that contains an anti-siphon valve.
6. Close the pump door until the latch clicks.
