ASSEMBLY

CONNECTING THE RAKE ARM TO THE SLIDING SUPPORT

Connect the rake arm to sliding support using
Turnbuckle (A), Spring (B), Shackles (C) and Spring
Stays (D) in the order shown.
By moving the linkage to different hole locations
you cab increase or decrease the pressure of the
rake wheel as needed depending on the crop and
terrain conditions. Hole (1) allows for minimum
pressure. Holes (2) and (3) increase intermediate
pressure and hole (4) allows for maximum
pressure.
Screwing the Turnbuckle (A) in and out you can
also increase or decrease pressure in each hole
position. The turnbuckle has 4-1/2" of adjustment.
Install rake wheel with the tine clamps facing away from the hub. Fasten to the hub using six 3/8" hexnuts.
NOTE: If the wheel is installed incorrectly you will notice hay "Climbing Up" the rake wheel during use.
After the Kicker Wheel is assembled, move the SMV placard from the rear of the mainframe and relocate to the
bracket attached to the slide tube of the kicker wheel. Asm-RK-0232
