    ASSEMBLY STEPS PREPARATION Assembling your rower is simple. • Remove all the parts of your rower from the carton and place them on the floor carefully. • Follow these instructions carefully and it should take you around 20-25 minutes. STEP 1: PEDAL AND FRONT STAND ASSEMBLY Slide Cross Shaft (86) into the Front Stand (41) and place the two Spacers (82/23), Pedals 57R, L on either side of the Shaft (86).
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY STEPS STEP 2: SEAT INSTALLATION Remove the Bumper (55) from the Rail (1). Slide the Seat (17) onto the Rail (1). Screw the Bumper (55) back into the Rail (1). Note: If the Seat (17) does not slide on easily, turn the Nylock Nuts (24) on both sides on the Seat Carriage (84) in a counter-clockwise direction.

    MAINTENANCE CLEANING The Trojan Colorado 370 Rower can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents on plastic parts. Please wipe your perspiration off the Trojan Colorado 370 Rower after each use. Please inspect all assembly bolts and pedals on the machine for proper tightness before use.

    MUSCLE CHART TROJAN COLORADO 370 ROWER The exercise routine that is performed on the Trojan Colorado 370 Rower will develop the lower body muscle group as well as condition the circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout. These muscle groups are highlighted on the muscle chart below.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment, a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next six to eight weeks.

    WARM UP & COOL DOWN WORKOUT GUIDELINES Each workout should include the following three parts: A warm-up: 5 to 10 minutes of stretching and light exercise. A proper warm-up increases your body temperature, heart rate, and circulation in preparation for exercise. Training zone exercise: 20 to 30 minutes of exercising with your heart rate in your training zone.

    EXERCISES HOW TO ROW EXERCISE TYPE: THE COMPLETE ROWING ACTION 1.a. This exercise will help tone and strengthen the muscle groups in your legs, arms, shoulders, back and stomach. Start as shown in Fig.1.a. with the handlebar fully returned to the starting position. Slide down on the seat, knees bent and grasp the handlebar and slowly move backwards, keeping your back straight, extending the 1.b.

Start as shown in Fig. 3.a. with your back straight and arms out stretched.
