– Front part of the vehicle including the front wheel apron, front fender and radiator panel side
• Front impact sensor
• Wiring harness
– Side or its vicinity of the vehicle including the side sill, center pillar, front doors, rear doors and rear fend-
er
• Side impact sensor (front door)
• Side impact sensor (center pillar)
• Side impact sensor (rear wheel house)
• Side impact sensor (under the rear center seat)
• Side impact sensor (under the rear center seat)
• Wiring harness
• When attaching the steering wheel and steering roll connector, be sure to adjust the steering roll connec-
tor.

2. BEFORE STARTING PARTS REPLACEMENT

• If the following parts are deformed or damaged, replace them with new parts.
– Impact sensors and brackets
– Airbag modules and brackets
– Airbag control module
– Pretensioners and brackets
– Harnesses
– Plate sensor cover (Side impact sensor (under the rear center seat))
– Pad front door inner
• Install the wiring harness securely with the specified clips to avoid interference or tangled with other parts.
• Do not use the airbag or pretensioner parts from other vehicles. Always replace the defective parts with
new parts.
• Never reuse any activated airbag module and pretensioner.
• Do not discard undeployed airbag or pretensioner. For the disposal procedures, refer to the section "Air-
bag Module Disposal" in the service manual.
• Do not reuse the bolts and nuts when the following parts are removed. Always replace with the specified
new bolts and nuts.
– Airbag control module
– Front impact sensor
– Side impact sensor (front door)
– Side impact sensor (center pillar)
– Side impact sensor (rear wheel house)
– Side impact sensor (under the rear center seat)
• When attaching the steering wheel and steering roll connector, be sure to adjust the steering roll connec-
tor.
