Connecting to DC Power
The device can connect to a DC power supply using one of the following methods:
DC terminal block with a screw connection type – see Section
DC terminal block with a crimp connection type – see Section
5.5.2.1
Connecting to DC Power using the DC Terminal Block Screw
The procedure below describes how to connect to DC power using the DC terminal block
screw connector.
To connect DC power using a DC terminal block screw connector:
1.
Create a DC cable by inserting two 14-16 AWG insulated wires into the supplied
terminal block adaptor (refer to the figure below), and then fasten the two screws,
each located directly above each wire.
2.
Connect the two insulated wires to the correct DC power supply. Ensure that the
connections to the DC power supply maintain the correct polarity.
3.
On the device's rear panel, insert the terminal block into the DC inlet.
