Connecting to E1/T1 Trunks

Depending on your model, the device connects to E1/T1 trunks using the following
connection type:
Telco connector for devices with 16 spans – see Section
RJ-48c connector for devices with 1, 2, 4, or 8 spans – see Section
5.3.1

Connecting 16-Span Device using Telco Connector

The procedure below describes how to connect the 16-span device. This connection uses
a 50-pin male Telco cable connector with pinouts as shown in the table below:
