Measuring altitude and vertical speed
Trouble
Cannot measure
The hand does not move after
pointing to an altitude of 0 m
There is a discrepancy
between the altitude
measurement results and the
actual altitude
Altitude measurements for
measurements performed at
the same location do not
match
Troubleshooting
If the indicator hand is pointing to E, there is not enough battery power
remaining to perform measurements.
Charge the watch until the remaining battery level is 2 or higher.

The altitude display range is 0 to 9,999 m. The altitude is displayed as 0
when it is less than 0 m.
If the atmospheric pressure changes due to weather conditions or the
temperature at the measurement location, the altitude measurement
results may differ.
Correct the altitude.

In basic altitude calibration (Reference Value Setting), the altitude may
not be calibrated properly depending on the reception condition for
GPS satellite signals.
Move to a location where you know the altitude, and then follow the steps
below to calibrate the altitude.

Basic altitude calibrating is performed if Reference Value Setting is
performed after calibrating the altitude. The altitude may not be
calibrated properly depending on the reception condition for GPS
