5.6.2. Freezer Temperature Sensor – NTC
Located on the freezer compartment at the Evaporator Front Cover, the
Freezer temperature Sensor is responsible for internal temperature
monitoring of this compartment, sending signs to the Electronic Control
which will activate/ deactivate Compressor and Fan Motor (thermostatic
routine), keeping the internal temperature close to the desired/ selected on
the Interface Panel

IMPORTANT
Check the correct position of the Freezer Sensor on its housing;
its wires should run downwards to prevent them from being broken.
It's operation range will be in accordance to the temperature selection indicated on the Freezer Control
(LCD Panel) which will follow the list shown at the table and graphic of the Refrigerator Temperature
Sensor, since they have the same electrical properties
5.6.3. Defrost Temperature Sensor – NTC
It's located at the freezer compartment, along with the Evaporator returning pipe. The Defrost Sensor is
responsible for sending signs to the electronic control, which will command the ending of the adaptive
defrost, turning off the Defrost Heater, containing a similar function to the well-known Defrost Bimetal.

IMPORTANT
♦ The Defrost Sensor is provided with a conductor sheet that should never be removed.
♦ Never change the position of such Sensors, as their functional characteristics can be modified.
This sensor also informs the temperature conditions of the Evaporator when the product is activated
(plugged in electricity) indicating to the Electronic Control the correct start up to be followed (see item –
Temperature Control), for instance, manufacturing default or the previous programming done by the
user, compressor shelter, etc.
