The meter has built-in messages to alert you of problems. When error messages
appear, note the error number. Turn off the meter and then follow these
instructions.

Troubleshooting Guide
Causes
Replace battery.
If meter has been exposed to or stored in
cold conditions, wait 30 minutes. Allow
meter to reach room temperature. Then
repeat test.
Remove battery for 30 seconds and then
put battery back in. Turn meter on again.
If problem persists, please contact
Customer Support at 1-800-838-9502.
A cell phone, radio or a high power
electrical source nearby can affect the
meter. Increase the distance between
the meter and these sources. Retest. If
the problem persists, please contact
Customer Support at 1-800-838-9502.
Repeat the test and ensure test strip
remains in place.
Repeat test. Apply sample after blood
drop/test strip icon appears.
Repeat test with a new test strip.
Repeat test. Apply sample after blood
drop/test strip icon appears.
Repeat test. Apply enough sample to fill
the test strip check window.
Repeat test. Apply enough sample to fill
the test strip check window within 3
seconds.
Move to a cooler environment. Repeat
the test.
