If the batteries have been preinstalled in the meter, a plastic tab will be protruding
from the battery. Simply pull on the tab to remove the plastic strip.
Batteries may not be preinstalled in the meter. The meter requires two CR 2032
3.0V coin cell batteries. Please find the batteries in your carrying case and install
them according to the following steps:
1. Turn over the meter to locate the battery cover. Press the battery cover tab on
the top and lift the cover to open it.
2. Insert two new CR 2032 3.0V coin cell batteries on top of the plastic tape. Make
sure they are aligned with the plus (+) side facing up.
3. Close the battery cover until it snaps shut.
