WARNING! The heat sink mounting surface must be a
smooth, flat surface with no burrs, protrusions, cuttings or
other foreign objects.
NOTE! If the curved fingers do not align between
the posts on the heat sink do not try and force them.
Verify that the heat sink is sitting square on the driver
and that the dot on the heat sink is on the same side
as the dot on the driver!

NOTE! Be certain to remove the clear protective sheet
from the TN-22 Thermal Pad before installation.

Removing the HFC-22 Heat Sink/Fan/Clip Assembly

To remove the HFC-22 from the the driver:
1)

CLIP
FAN
Squeeze the two arms on one side of the assembly until the
locking tabs are free in the slot on the drive.
Gently lift the freed side away from the drive. The HFC-22 will
separate from the drive. (The fan will be locked inside the
clip.)
