Meaning
In Service Last Fault only:
No fault code stored.
POST detected low HV .
HV too high for power setting.
Gate frequency or duty
cycle error.
Monitor EEPROM error.
Monitor EEPROM read error.
Processor error.
Gate drive w/o /ACTIVE.M.
PSET6:7 inconsistent with
VMODE.
Possible Remedies
Unit has never declared a fault.
HV supply output low. Try Service Pr
Mode output checks. If HV low, repair.
Otherwise verify HVSENS = VCON x
0.8 to 0.84. Otherwise, attempt full
recalibration. Otherwise, replace A2U2.
If during POST, enter Service Pr mode.
Verify HV < 3V at zero power setting
and rises smoothly with setting. If so,
attempt recalibration. Otherwise verify
HVSENS = VCON x 0.8 to 0.84.
Verify HVPWM duty varies smoothly
up from 0 with setting. Replace A1U1,
A1U2. Possible open A2Q3, D3, T3,
no Q3 gate drive.
In Service Pr mode, verify correct A2Q3
gate period, on-time and voltage all 3
modes. Use minimum non-zero power.
If correct, verify VGATE in 2.1 to 2.6V
range when active; check A1Q4 &
associated RCs.
Verify SDA.M & SCL.M swing 0 to +5
pre-POST. If not, check RN3A & B,
Vcc. If OK, attempt recalibration.
Otherwise, replace A1U4 & recalibrate.
Attempt recalibration. If no
improvement, replace A1U4 &
recalibrate.
Replace A1U2.
Verify /ACTIVE.M swings 0 to +5 with
hand or footswitch. If correct, verify
GATE= +5 when not active. Verify
ACTIVE.C not stuck low. Replace
A1U1.
Verify VMODE.C = VMODE.M =
VMODE. Verify VMODE well within
specification range. Verify +5C & +5M
good to +/- 2%. Replace A1U1 or
A1U2.
