10.11 Specific DIN1946-4 maintenance
To disinfect, use cleaning products which are compatible with the list of disinfectants approved by RKI (Robert Roch Institute) or
VAH (Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene), such as the product Indicin Pro (Ecolab). Respect the contact times and concentrations
indicated by the manufacturer.
Do not use any flammable products
Do not use sponges or abrasive tools
Clean the seals on the doors and access panels
You are recommended to follow the maintenance requirements set out in the VDI 6022 standard (table 6)
Maintenance must be carried out by a member of staff with at least a Category A qualification according to the VDI 6022 standard
(part 4).

These components can be removed and replaced in the event of microbial or fungal infection. It is recommended that they be
replaced every 12 months.
As the cables are not biologically inert, they must be monitored closely, and be subject to frequent cleaning. Should a defect
become apparent, have these replaced by the authorised UTC Service teams.
