INTRODUCTION The Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi is a twin rotor rake to rake grass. The Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi has two rotors with 15 removable tine arms, each with five double tines. The tines provide a clean sweep and move the grass to the center in a fluffy swath.
Either oil-pressure or air-pressure brake systems can be installed. Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi + The Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi + is a special version of the Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi. It has adjustable wheel assemblies underneath the rotors. This enables easy adjustment of the working height during operation.
Optional Extras Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi 1.7.1 Stabilization Chain Stabilization chains are used to keep the lower arms of the tractor at the correct height. The stabilisation chains are installed between a rigid part of the tractor and the connection points of the Hibiscus.
SAFETY This chapter contains safety instructions you must obey when you use or do maintenance on your Lely Hibiscus. It also explains the safety decals on the Lely Hibiscus. Signal Words Note the use of the signal words DANGER, WARNING and CAUTION. The...
• Clean or replace the safety decals regularly so that they can be read at all times. Explanation of the Safety Decals on the Lely Hibiscus 1015 CD Profi Read the operator's manual carefully before you operate the Hibiscus Keep a safe distance from the Hibiscus when the tractor engine is on.
OPERATION Connect the Hibiscus to the Tractor Adjust the 3-point hitch on the tractor until the arms are at the same height. Connect the two lower arms of the 3-point hitch to the linkage pins on the headstock. If the Hibiscus has category III linkage pins, install filler pieces between the linkage pins and the lowers arms of the tractor.
Figure 5. Connection Points Disconnect the Hibiscus from the Tractor Move the two parking jacks to the bottom position. Install the wheel wedges in front of the transport wheels and behind the transport wheels. Use the tractor hydraulic system to lower the headstock until the parking jacks are on the ground.
If an electrically controlled hydraulic system is installed: Disconnect the electrical power supply for the control box from the tractor. Remove the control box from the tractor cab. Disconnect the brake hoses from the tractor. Attach the brake hoses to the support on the headstock. Disconnect the lighting electrical cable from the tractor.
Page 18
If an electrically controlled hydraulic system is installed: On the control box, set the switch to the center position. Operate the tractor hydraulic system to retract the hydraulic ram until the Hibiscus is in the transport position. Make sure the locking hooks have engaged in the hydraulic rams. Figure 6.
