Procedure

Align the screw holes on the I/O board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Replace the two screws (M2x3) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Connect the fingerprint reader cable to the I/O board and close the latch.
NOTE:
Applicable only to computers that are shipped with power button with fingerprint reader.

Adhere the tape to the I/O-board cable.
5
Connect the I/O-board cable to the I/O board and close the latch.

Replace the fan.
