The TX 520 has the ability to control up to six channels if required. This is
achieved from one panel using the bottom row of buttons in the top left of the
panel.
The <ASSIGN> button on the left is used to enable/disable channel selection
buttons 1 to 6. The <ASSIGN> button is lit when active.
The channel push buttons are only active when the <ASSIGN> button is active.
Pressing any channel button will assign the panel to control the corresponding
channel, if not already being controlled then that channel button will light. If
however the panel is already controlling the selected channel, then it will stop
controlling it and the channel button will be extinguished.
Pressing any channel button while the <ASSIGN> button is off will have no effect
on channel assignment and channel button lamps will stay in their previous states.
Note: Once selected, the channel button will remain lit if the communications with
selected channel is valid, otherwise it will flash indicating that communications
have been lost. If only one channel is being controlled, the panel will go into reset
mode until communications are restored or the channel is deselected.
