A downstream keyer (DSK) enables images such as captions and logos to be
displayed on top of the programme. The TX 520 provides two DSKs.
The DSK controls are located at the bottom right of the lower console.

One or both DSKs can be taken to air at any time manually if a transition is not in
progress.
If the <CUT> button is lit, the DSK is already on-air.
If the <FOLLOW> button is flashing, then the DSK is set to follow the next video or
DVE transition. If the DSK is then manually taken to air the button will remain
flashing, indicating that it will come off air at the next transition.

Press the <CUT> or <FADE> button for the DSK.
The <CUT> button is lit while the DSK is on-air.
The <FADE> button is lit while a fade is in progress. The fade can be
completed early by pressing <CUT>.
