Used to manually suspend a transition set by an automation system until the
<HOLD> button is pressed again to release it. For example, if the current on-air
programme overruns its scheduled duration it may be necessary to manually
control when the next transition will be made.

Select the required source to the PST bus.To take the transition in one step,
including pre-rolling the machine, press <PRE-ROLL & TAKE>.
The machine is started. The red PGM source buttons light after the pre-
configured ROLL time, corresponding to the sources pre-selected on PST.
The pre-roll time is displayed in the window above the <PRE-ROLL &
TAKE> button. The transition is made using the type and speed shown by
the lit transition setup buttons.

To abort the transition once a pre-roll has started, press the <ABORT> button
next to the countdown timer.
The transition is aborted and the pre-roll countdown timer resets. The PGM
and PST sources remain unchanged.
