There are ten wipe patterns available which can be selected, along with the
softness and direction of the wipe, from the wipe page. This page is accessed by
pressing the wipe button on the home page. This button has a graphic of the
currently selected wipe pattern. The default settings for the wipe pattern are:
· wipe pattern selection = left to right horizontal wipe
· wipe softness = 0%
· wipe softness = OFF
· wipe direction = normal (forward)
When control is by an automation system (e.g. Pro-Bel Compass) the displayed
wipe pattern changes to reflect the currently selected setting by the automation
system.

From the home screen (see chapter 12), press the
<WIPE PATTERN> button.
The wipe screen is displayed with the current wipe pattern in the centre of
the screen.

To select a different wipe pattern, press the button that corresponds to the wipe
pattern required from the left or right of the screen.
The new wipe pattern selected is shown in the centre of the screen

To set the direction of wipe, turn the leftmost shaft encoder clockwise to select
NORMAL or anti-clockwise to select REVERSE for the direction of wipe.

To set softness state, turn the shaft encoder third from left clockwise to turn
softness ON, or anti-clockwise to turn it OFF.
