WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from DC voltage from solar
modules.
-
Make sure that the input and output sides in front of the device are not
charged before connecting anything.
-
Any and all connections should only be carried out by qualified electricians.
-
Follow the safety rules in these operating instructions.
NOTE! Only use a DC cable with the correct polarity at
the terminals for DC cable 'IN' and at the terminals with
fuse holders for DC cable 'IN'.
NOTE! To ensure problem-free DC cable connections to the terminals, the length
of the DC cables should be no less than 330 mm (measured from the inside bot-
tom edge of the Fronius String Control 100/12):
NOTE! Observe the sequence when inserting and connecting DC cables: from
bottom to top and from the inside outwards.

NOTE! When connecting fewer than 12 solar module strings, we recommend as-
signing the DC cables to the measuring channels as equally as possible.
For example: When connecting 8 solar module strings, connect 4 DC cables per
measuring channel. If possible, leave individual terminals free between the DC
cables.
NOTE! When connecting solar modules with varying power tolerance, we recom-
mend distributing the power to the measuring channels as equally as possible.
