Description
Acyclic data communications. Data are read/written from/to an IO device at the desired timing.
Memory in an intelligent function module for storing data such as setting values and monitored values.
When integrated into the CPU module, this memory refers to a memory for storing data such as setting values and
monitored values of the Ethernet function, and data used for data communication of the multiple CPU function.
A generic term for the MELSEC iQ-R series CPU modules
Time required for one cycle of data exchange between the RJ71PN92 and each IO device
A device (X, Y, M, D, or others) in a CPU module
A process of stopping communications if a communication error occurs
Another term for the software package for the MELSEC programmable controllers
A generic term for the devices supporting IP communications (such as personal computers)
A label that is valid for all the program data when multiple program data are created in the project.
There are two types of global label: a label, which is generated automatically by GX Works3, and an optional label,
which can be created for any specified device.
A file based on XML for PROFINET. The file contains information required for GX Configurator-PN, such as an IO device
attribute, module types, setting data of modules, and error messages.
A tool to set network configuration for PROFINET
A module that has functions other than input and output, such as an A/D converter module and D/A converter module
The abbreviation for the PROFINET IO device
A label that represents a device in a given character string
A component that is a part of an IO device. The module can be easily added or replaced.
An industrial Ethernet protocol offered by PROFIBUS & PROFINET International
The abbreviation for Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability. This term refers to the overall usability of automated
equipment.
