This 15-way D-type socket is used to connect your monitor to the computer (it is not
suitable for TTL RGB monitors).
The pins on the socket are as follows:
See Appendix B: Monitor connections on page 71 for information on monitors that use this
socket. See your supplier for information on the types of colour monitors that work with the
computer.
Computer power cable
Use this to connect the computer to a standard power outlet.
Expansion card blanking panel
The blanking panel covers the expansion card slot when not in use.
Keyboard
The functions of the various keys are described in Using the keyboard on page 39.
What follows here is a description of the back of the keyboard and how to connect it,
and the mouse, to the computer.
