You need this cable (if it's not supplied) for use with televisions and monitors using
a SCART input socket:
Connecting the stereo headphones jack will automatically cut off the sound to the
computer's internal speaker.
Note 1: HSync (pin 13)
linked back to IDO
(pin 11) tells the
computer that
composite (rather than
vertical) sync is
required, and that only
modes compatible with
a TV standard monitor
can be displayed.
Note 2: On some TVs
you might have to
manually switch the TV
into SCART mode
(check how to do this in
the TV's manual).
